NEA

 initial ideas for my NEA:

for my NEA I will be producing a music video. my initial ideas for songs would be:

-iloveitiloveitiloveit by Bella kay

-see you again by Tyler the creator

-are we still friends by Tyler the creator

for this music video I want it to include scenes / create a story which could almost relate to the target audience of 16-25 year olds. this would be including concepts of friendship and love ext...

for locations it is required to have at least two mice-en-scenes and for this my initial ideas of a location in the music video would possibly be at the beach with a sunset, this is because I feel as though many people of that age category love being at a place so scenic and beautiful and that having this in the video would attract those watching and also with any song that I choose I believe it would go well with the vibe and lyrics. another location would possibly a bedroom or just in general a house. this would be because I feel as though many different types of scenes can be captured in a simple location whilst it still creates purpose to the video.

feedback -

from creating the pitch some challenging things I had learnt to overcome is mostly editing the subject lip syncing to the lyrics; it is very hard to get it accurate in time with the music and requires a lot of editing and time. when coming up with all the ideas I could to my music video many different elements had come into mind which I, at first, didn't realise would be major factors to think about, for example, clothing (what colour it is to present feelings or stories), just random objects in the mist-en-scene which could help with intertextuality. another thing that I learned from this experience is that not everything will go how you want it to or expect, in terms of ideas not being best suited to the song or even when filming there are many 'distractions' and trying to improve that can be quite difficult. an example from my experience is when filming my 30 second video pitch, the sun was out creating a shadow which is very visible so I know that I need to careful in terms of what angles I film out or even the location.
